Feasibility Studies

One aim of a feasibility study is to analyse risk at the earliest stage in a project. We can, using our experience and building cost data, look at a proposal and identify most, if not all, of the potential influences that might impact upon a particular project. Once investigated, we can prepare outline design proposals and explain our view using written and two dimensional representations.

Plan layout & Design

Our skills are particularly suited to working with existing buildings, designing alterations, extensions and fit-outs. Experience allows us to identify potential problems at an early stage and to offer workable solutions. We also undertake space planning and space audit exercises. Using modern technologies, we are able to move the design process forwards as quickly as required.

Statutory Applications

Building Control and the Planning Department are essential partners in any development. To make the most of this partnership a complete understanding of the process is essential. We have a detailed working knowledge of the Regulations and appreciate the impact that Planning and Listed Buildings Consent can have. This enables us to interpret your requirements and prepare well founded applications that satisfy statutory bodies.

Measured Drawings

The first step in the production of new drawings is the referral to existing documentation. Unfortunately where no existing plans exist, this will necessitate that a measured survey is undertaken to facilitate the preparation of existing layouts. We can also measure land in relation to the preparation of deed-plans and to aid the resolution of boundary disputes.
